My country Colombia is privileged by your geographic position. Colombia has all class of climates since sun hot of the coast until snow of the top of the mountains. Therefore, Colombia has a great bio diversity of animals, birds, amphibians, minerals and flora.
For this reason, people can swim or dive in the sea, I recommend the beaches of San Andres island, Rosario island, Tayrona park, Santa Marta, Cartagena, Bahía Solano or Malpelo island (this area have greater variety of marine flora in Colombia). But, too is possible swim in the rivers, lakes and and dams. The Caño Cristales is a gorgeous area, and the river combines several colors. Also, you can swim and fish in the Prado dam. You want strong emotions, the kayak is for you, visit the Pintada town and trip for the Cauca river. You can see whale in the pacific zone in the month of agost.
Another attraction is that you enjoy is hiking in the forest of our chains of mountains (Colombia has three chain mountains: west, east and centerral). Appreciate the Nevados Nature Park’s, Sierra of the Macarena, Nudo de Paramillo, these places are recommend. You is a person the action, hunt in the allow season in Nevados Nature park and other sites. Relax fishing in the river or in fishponds . Do picnics in the forest with your families or friends.
Whether you like conditions hards, the desert Tatacoa and Guajira zone is your option. The culture of the Guajira is special and magic.
The Llanos Orientales is a flat area, that is perfect for horse ride. This area have a lot of ranchs and is rich in oil.
