Education level vs better job

I think that it is true. The best job opportunities required a good education level; however, for me, the better job is when you are occupied in something that you love to do. I know people with important level in study have important jobs, but they do not have passion for their jobs; Also, I know people low study level but very happy with their job.

Finally, for me, education level and study level are different.

Education vs Good job - By: Lina Orozco

This thesis not is true. The best students sometimes can not get a good job. A good education without experience not is enought. Finally the more education that want gets the better job you find and more difficult the remuneration.

I think....my life is fantastic. I have many things and behaviors to change. Because i
learned one by one, that the idea is to continue and arrive to the end of the rainbow
to be happy! It is difficult for me to recognize that sometimes i am strong with myself, i judge me. It is necesary to feed my self-esteem,accept the things i can not change and move forward, because if i not love me,as others will do. I'm trying to acomplish every
day to increase my self-respect and value me a bit more.

People do not change, people can modify their conducts, or reactions. By Adrian Ramirez

People do not change, people can modify their conducts, or reactions.

This is a reason because I cannot change, but I can modify the shape of react in certain circustanses where my emotions are stronger than me, for example I have a serious problem, I get angry easily. I need to learn to calm down quickly to modify my conduct.

For this I said "People do not change. People can modify their conduct o reactions."

A change in my life

If I could change one thing about myself, I would try to be more attentive with my family. I should share more time with them. Today I acknowledge that this is a really important a I try to be closer to them. Fortunately, I noticed in time. I am doing things to be attentive with them, and achieve this change in my life.

If I could change one thing about myself.

In this age, the communications are essentials in everyday life,  if a person does not express his feeling, and ideas, it could be isolated, and lose a good opportunities of jobs or changes in his life.
In my case, I will talk more, and I will have more friends, but I need help, because my voice es very soft and the other persons do not listen to me.
Shyness is a problema that must be confronted, so it if is necesary, you must search help.  But, the change is internal.

Coffee Route - Route of the Sun - Route of the treasures of Caribe (Pereira to Cartagena)

Cartagena is a beautiful place in the Caribbean Sea. Some years ago, we decided to have our vacation in Cartagena city, but we were really surprised with the beautiful places in the route.

We started our route in Pereira and took the Coffee Route. We was surprised with the landscapes, wonderful nature and the green mountains. On the way we could see the “Nevado Del Ruiz” this is an important snowy mountain in Colombia. It have an elevation of 16.000 feet approximately. We appreciate it was a paved road but with some gaps that made it difficult to drive. Only four hours in route we rested in Medellin city. We enjoyed a wonderful meal and beautiful places. After we continued our trip traveling in Route of the Sun, in this route we could look massive wildlife as alligators, many birds and sloths. When traveling we decided to travel for the Route of the treasures of Caribe, to Monteria, Cerete detour to San Pelayo, where it is celebrate the Porro festival. Traveling many kilometers, finally we arrived to Cartagena.

So when you decided to travel by this routes, keep calm and enjoy all the wonders that it offers.

Trip to Chicago. By: Ricado Acosta and Ivan Alexander Laverde G. Date: 07/06/2015

TRIP TO CHICAGO

It was early in the morning and we woke up to begin the trip to Chicago. We programmed the route in the GPS, fastened the seat belt and started the car.

The route began on Friday at 3:30am, the first smalltown that we found was Strafford, and the second one was Fort Leonard Wood. The third small-town was Rolla. Then we arrived to St Louis and saw the Gateway Arch and the Cardinals Field Team. During this time, we traveled near to Historic Route 66. We arrived to Chicago at 01:00pm after oraveling 520 miles and nine hours.

Once in Chicago we went to Willy Towers and we saw the city from Sky deck. The city has more the one thousand tall buildings. We were waiting until 9pm for see the light of the city. It was exiting!!
At night, we were riding in boat across the river, and it was beautiful. The architectural are rich in old and contemporary building.

We walked searching for meal. We wanted to eat at Hard Rock or Hooter, but these were closed.  Nevertheless, we found a good restaurant, and we ate hot dogs.  Afterwards, we went to sleep.

The Saturday in the morning, we had breakfast in Mc’Donald. Then, we went to the Millenium Park. This park has many attractions, but The Bean is an amazing sculpture, although it have other one, for example: Jay Pritzker Pavilian, Crow Fountaid and the sculpture the head of a woman.

It was 3 pm when we ate a good lunch with a Pizza, but we had to wait for 1 hour. After, we took pictures of the city.

By time, we could not take a tour in the down town in bus, because we wanted to know the firewalls in a big city, but we did not like.  The firewalls finished after 15 minutes.  For us, the firewalls were similar to our country.

We were tired from a busy day we went to sleep.

At 9:30 a.m. we took the route back to Hammond house and arrived at 8 pm.  In the route, we learned to use the speed control.  The trip was a great experience for us.

THANKSGIVING DAY by: Luz Maria and Alvaro

THANKSGIVING DAY
Thanksgiving is a traditional celebration in the United States and Canada. This holiday has its origin in a mixture of European and Aboriginal tradition. Pilgrims landed at Plymouth Rock- U.S. On December of 1620. The first winter was very hard for them, but the following fall, they obtained a good harvest of the seeds they planted. They decided to celebrate with a big dinner including aborigines who helped them to survive during the first year.

George Washington, the first US president, declared the first Thanksgiving on February 19, 1795. In 1863, Abraham Lincoln chose October 3rd as a day of reflection and thanksgiving. In 1941, Theodore Roosevelt, the president in this period, changed the Thanksgiving date to the fourth Thursday in November. This is still the date when this holiday is celebrated. Meanwhile, in Canada, Thanksgiving is celebrated during the second Monday in October. Both, the U.S and Canada celebrate it in family. Although it is religious in origin, it is considered a secular holiday.

Over the years, the tradition of celebrating this day has become more popular in the United States and Canada; it is a day to gather with family, friends, and share a feast where the menu consists of traditional roast turkey, mashed potatoes, candied yams, green beans, glazed carrots, rolls and pumpkin pie. The most important thing in the Thanksgiving, as its name suggests, is to thank. People are grateful for being accompanied by their loved ones once a year. Thus, many families give thanks by means blessing before meals and solidarity acts; such as, voluntary donations to provide support to the needy.
